A Message from the President of Engineeringshock Electronics
My name is Patrick Mitchell, and I am the president and main product engineer for Engineeringshock Electronics. I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for visiting our new website, and to tell you a little about our company.
Ever since I was a child, I had a profound interest in taking things apart. I didn't enjoy putting things back together again, but I loved to disassemble any and every electronics device I could get my hands on. I even took apart some household appliances that got me into a fair bit of trouble! I knew throughout my youth that I would go on to study electronics as a post-secondary education.
I graduated from the Electronics Engineering Technician program at Conestoga College in 2008. Once I graduated, I began to post my electronic projects on youtube, and I quickly gained a small following. From there, I decided to start selling small breadboard based projects that I had created on ebay. I created a small storefront called the HobbyTronixStore, which is still up and running to this day! I was also writing some practical electronic tutorials, which can be found on this site! I created a website called www.electroniclessons.com, which acts as a pointer to my ebay store.
Two years ago, a colleague and I made our first official website store, and registered our business as Engineeringshock Electronics in Ontario, Canada. Our website? You guessed it! You're here, aren't you? If you're as passionate as we are about electronics, then you've come to the right place! We're always looking for new and interesting projects to work on, so please don't ever hesitate to send us an email! We're also open to custom projects, so if you have something in mind, we're open to hearing about it.
Thanks to all of you who are visiting and supporting our site! We'll be updating daily, so make sure you come back often.
Happy building, everyone!
Sincerely,
Patrick Mitchell
