talking combination lock safe module
with internal EEPROM memory - EASY TO USE !
This listing is for a fully assembled "safe" combination lock kit with potentiometer dial, external speaker, and internal EEPROM memory. This device talks to you, and it is easily one of my favourite products that we carry. You can enter into program mode relatively easily, and you can reprogram your code relatively easily. No need for a battery backup, as your code is saved in the internal EEPROM memory after power off. The device talks to you, and has an on board high power relay that is activated when the user enters the correct combination. This module is fully assembled, but we will we selling this in kit form as well. I just need to find the time to make an assembly video. The video above will act as your user manual, so make sure to watch it before you purchase.
How It Works:
This device requires 7-12VDC to operate. It does not come with an AC adapter, but if you want one, contact me before you purchase this listing, and I'll include one for an extra $6.75. When you power the device on, it will say "Enter combination". From there, you have to enter in the correct combination to activate the relay. If you enter in the wrong combination, the device will say "Incorrect combination", then "Enter combination" again. If you begin entering in digits, but take too much time to enter in a digit, the device says "Time-out", and resets back to "Enter combination". Each time you press the SEL button, the device will say "Set", meaning that said digit has been accepted. Since you won't know the combination when you receive this circuit, you'll need to reprogram yourself. This is very easy to do!
Enter Program Mode:
turn on your device, and turn your dial all of the way right so that the 7-segment is displaying "9". From there, power off your device. Hold the SEL button down, and re-apply power. The 7-segment LEDs should all turn on and off four times. Make sure that you are still holding the button down. If you don't you will end up back in standard mode of operation. Otherwise, the device will say "Enter Program Mode". Let go of the SEL button, and the 7-segment display will turn back on, and will act as if in normal operation. From here, enter in your four digit code and the device will say "Code programmed", then "system Ready", then "Enter Combination", which will lead you back into standard operating mode. If you enter in the correct combination, the device will scroll the segments on the display, and turn the relay on. In addition, it will say "System activated". The scrolling will continue, and the relay will stay on until you press the SEL button one more time; at which point the scrolling will stop, the relay will turn off, and the device will say "System deactivated", then "Enter combination", which will allow for you to re-enter the combination. If you feel that this explanation isn't sufficient, simply watch the video above!
This listing includes:
1x fully assembled & tested talking combination lock safe module with speaker attachment (As seen in the above video).
Please note that this unit does not come with an AC adapter. If you want one, contact me prior to purchase, and I will sell you one for an additional $6.75.
