6 Digit DIY clock kit
with Stopwatch, COUNTDOWN timer & alarm setting ATMEL
This listing is for an ATMEL based 6-digit clock kit that includes a countdown timer feature, a stopwatch feature, and an alarm-set feature. There is also an output tied to the piezo that can be interfaced with other microcontrollers if you want to use the alarm or countdown timer function to alert an external MCU. The video above shows you how to set the functions, and also acts to show you how to put it together. It is relatively easy to put together, but this kit does not come with a hard copy o the instructions. The video acts as your instructions. So follow along =) I've also included a click-able link below that shows you the schematic. Seriously, watch the video! It will show you all that you need to know!
This kit includes:
1) A Custom PCB (Printed circuit board).
2) All of the components required to build the kit.
3) Round the clock access to the instructional video =)

Kit Features:
1) A custom PCB and all the parts required for a complete build.
2) 4 Settings: CLOCK/ALARM/COUNT DOWN/STOP WATCH
3) External alarm output for easy interface with another MCU.
Requirements:
1) Power Supply: 7VDC - 9VDC (regulated to 5VDC on the board) - Please note that the schematic provided above suggests that you use 12v for the input supply. Use no more than 10v, or else the 78L05 regulator will get hot.
2) Basic soldering skills.
3) Attention to detail. Some kit assembly experience is helpful.

Note that this kit does not come with the extra parts required for the relay driver application. If you want the extra parts to be included in your order, let me know prior to order. I will include the relative parts for an additional $5.50, and I'll include an empty prorotyping PCB and a 3-pin terminal block for the relay outputs.
